Day 1: Fes ⇢ Middle Atlas ⇢ Ziz Valley ⇢ Merzouga
Start your travel through the desert from Fez to Marrakech early in the morning with a pickup from your riad. Before continuing to the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you will have the opportunity to see several Barbary monkeys in the cedar forest of Azrou, leave the city and drive to Ifrane, where you will stay for approximately fifteen minutes and possibly have a cup of coffee. Go to Merzouga through Midelt and the Ziz Valley (a valley full of palm trees). In the evening, arrive in Merzouga. Remain in a stunning riad.
Day 2: Merouga ⇢ Khamlia village ⇢ Nomad families ⇢ Mifis Mines
Around 10:00 AM, after a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you’ll begin your journey of the Merzouga desert. With the help of our 44 SUV, you can get to the Berber Nomads who live beyond the sand dunes and learn about their way of life and how they have managed to survive there. and numerous others on their vibrant culture. In addition, you’ll go to Mefis, a tiny hidden settlement in the desert, hear Gnawa music in Khamlia, and, if the Lake of Birds is full, go there as well.
You will enjoy camel trekking across the Erg Chebbi Dunes to get to your desert tent in the evening. When you get there, you can go sandboarding and take in the sunset. The Berbers will feed you food and play drums for you around the fire if you spend the night in their camp. Before heading to bed, take time to enjoy the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga ⇢ Todra Gorges ⇢ Boumalne Dades
If you get up early enough today, you’ll have the opportunity to see an amazing sunrise. Following a sumptuous breakfast, you will travel through the gorges of Rissani, Erfoud, the oasis of Tinghir, and Todra on your way to Boumalne. There will be a lot of stops along the road. Dinner and a hotel room in Boumalne for the night.
Day 4: Boumalne Gorge ⇢ Ait Ben Haddou ⇢ The high Atlas Mountains ⇢ Marrakech
You will travel to Ouarzazate after breakfast at the accommodation through the Road of 1000 Kasbahs. You can either visit the Atlas Studios or just take some exterior pictures here. See the Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, which served as the backdrop for the filming of a number of well-known movies, including Gladiator .
You will drive over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech after lunch here. Several Moroccan Berber communities can be seen on the trip.

What a great inquiry! “Private desert trips” require comfortable transportation. For groups bigger than 8, we employ Land Cruiser TXs, Ford 8-seater vans, Mercedes Bens Sprinter minibuses, and a variety of other comfortable vehicles.

Initially, we ask that a small deposit be given to our account via PayPal during the booking procedure. Second, the balance must be paid in cash to our driver/guide on the first day of the tour in euros, dollars, or the equivalent in dirhams.
At the start of your camel trek, a 4×4 vehicle will convey your luggage. As a result, your bags will be there when you arrive at the camp.
Serving vegan or vegetarian food is possible. On the first day of your trip, please email me or let your driver/guide know as soon as you can.
If you don’t want to ride a camel, we can transport you to the camp in a 4 × 4 vehicle.
