Day 1: Errachidia ⇢ Merzouga Desert
Your three day desert excursion will begin with a pick-up at Moulay Ali Cherif Airport or another location in Errachidia, followed by a journey through the Ziz Valley. We’ll pause at a panoramic viewpoint for some amazing photos. then proceed on to Erg Chebbi dunes via Erfoud, the fossil capital. Arriving in Merzouga, where a knowledgeable camel guy and camels will be waiting to transport us for around 30 minutes across the magnificent Merzouga dunes to the camp. Spend the evening outside with the locals.
Day 3: Merouga ⇢ Khamlia village ⇢ Nomad families ⇢ Mifis Mines
Around 10:00 AM, after a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you’ll begin your journey of the Merzouga desert. With the help of our 44 SUV, you can get to the Berber Nomads who live beyond the sand dunes and learn about their way of life and how they have managed to survive there. and numerous others on their vibrant culture. In addition, you’ll go to Mefis, a tiny hidden settlement in the desert, hear Gnawa music in Khamlia, and, if the Lake of Birds is full, go there as well.
You will enjoy camel trekking across the Erg Chebbi Dunes to get to your desert tent in the evening. When you get there, you can go sandboarding and take in the sunset. The Berbers will feed you food and play drums for you around the fire if you spend the night in their camp. Before heading to bed, take time to enjoy the stars.
Day 3: Merzouga Desert ⇢ Errachidia
After a stunningly magnificent sunrise, get ready, eat breakfast in your camp, and then take an included onward departure transfer to the airport in Errachidia.

What a great inquiry! “Private desert trips” require comfortable transportation. For groups bigger than 8, we employ Land Cruiser TXs, Ford 8-seater vans, Mercedes Bens Sprinter minibuses, and a variety of other comfortable vehicles.

Initially, we ask that a small deposit be given to our account via PayPal during the booking procedure. Second, the balance must be paid in cash to our driver/guide on the first day of the tour in euros, dollars, or the equivalent in dirhams.
At the start of your camel trek, a 4×4 vehicle will convey your luggage. As a result, your bags will be there when you arrive at the camp.
Serving vegan or vegetarian food is possible. On the first day of your trip, please email me or let your driver/guide know as soon as you can.
