one Week In Morocco Itinerary
Day 1:Agadir ⇢ Marrakech
Agadir is the starting point of our seven-day journey into the Moroccan desert. In order to take you on a half-day tour of Marrakech, we will pick you up from the airport or your accommodation in Agadir. Marrakech, the former imperial capital of Morocco, is a significant economic center that features palaces, gardens, and mosques. We’ll spend the night there after a busy day there.
Day 2: Marrakech ⇢ Dades Valley
The second day of the 7 days desert tour from Agadir will begin with breakfast. We will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to the next destination. From Marrakech, we will take the Tizi Ntichka pass to the Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou. For a stunning 360-degree view, we’ll halt at the well-known site at 2260 meters (6,867 ft). Thereafter, we’ll travel to the famous Moroccan Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and fortified hamlet (Ksar). Lunch will be served at a well-known Ait Benhaddou restaurant.
Then, we’ll take a trip to Ouarzazate to see the Kasbah of Taourirte and the Atlas & CLA Studios, where a lot of producers have worked on a lot of movies and TV shows. As a result, Ouarzazate is known as the “Hollywood of Africa.”
We make our first stop at the Valley of the Roses before continuing on to Boumalne Dades in the afternoon. This region is renowned for its enormous rose crop, which is used to make perfume. Furthermore, rosewater and cosmetics are available. Dades stay the night
Day 3: Dades Valley ⇢ Merzouga Desert
You leave your hotel after an early breakfast and go to Merzouga in the Sahara Desert to start yet another adventure. Then, we’ll travel the Thousand Kasbahs Route, which will take us through several Berber settlements. We’ll travel to the Todgha Gorges, a collection of limestone cliffs located in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains.
We’ll stop in Tinejdad, a Berber town known for its palm trees, along the way to explore. After that, we’ll stop at Jorf to look at the ancient irrigation system.
Our next destination will be Erfoud. You can go there to see the fossil laborers and the Date Market in southern Morocco. By the conclusion of the day, we will arrive in the Merzouga desert, where you can settle into your accommodations.
Day 4: Merouga ⇢ Khamlia village ⇢ Nomad families ⇢ Mifis Mines
The following morning, after setting off on camelback early to take in the dawn, we will arrive at the hotel in time for breakfast and a shower. Then, after a 60-kilometer trip, we will learn about nomadic life and visit other small villages, including Merzouga, Hassi Labied, and Khamlia. You can take a swim in the local hotel’s pool in the afternoon while taking in the stunning scenery of the sand mountains.
Day 5: Merzouga⇢ Marrakech
We’ll return to Ouarzazate on the fifth day of our seven-day desert journey from Agadir. We will bring the camels back to the starting location once you finish having breakfast in the morning. We’ll travel to Rissani and stop there to look around the souk and see the local crafts.
Later, we go through the Draa Valley on our route from Agdez to Ouarzazate. After that, we’ll travel over the High Atlas Mountains to Marrakech, Morocco’s red city. There will be some free time for you. Breakfast and dinner are included in our overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 6:Marrakech Sightseeing
After breakfast, your local guide will meet you at your riad to begin exploring the red city of Marrakech, which includes the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadines Tombs, the Bahia Palace, the square of Jamaa el Fna, and its souks. Additionally, after breakfast, your driver will take you to the breathtaking Majorelle Gardens in the city’s newest neighborhood, Gueliz. Thereafter, you will have free time to explore Marrakech .
Day 7: Marrakech⇢ Agadir
