About this tour
Ten days that cover the whole country, from the blue north to the Atlantic coast. After Chefchaouen, Fes and a night in the dunes, you spend time in Marrakech and finish with the sea breeze and fresh fish of Essaouira.
A true holiday rhythm: some travel days, some free days and plenty of variety, with a private driver who looks after every detail from the ferry to your flight home.

Itinerary
Day1 Tangier → Chefchaouen
Your driver welcomes you in Tangier — at the port, the airport or your hotel. Head into the Rif mountains to Chefchaouen, the famous blue city, and spend the afternoon exploring its peaceful lanes, the Kasbah and the Ras el-Maa spring where locals still wash wool by hand.
Day2 Chefchaouen → Meknes → Fes
Drive south to Meknes, Sultan Moulay Ismail's imperial capital. Walk through the monumental Bab Mansour, visit the mausoleum of Moulay Ismail when open, and enjoy the atmosphere of El Hedim square. Continue to Fes and check in to your riad.
Day3 Fes sightseeing
Discover Fes el-Bali with a licensed local guide: the Bou Inania and Attarine madrasas, the Al Quaraouiyine mosque — founded in 859 — the Chouara tanneries and the artisans' souks. End the day with a view over the medina from the Merinid Tombs or the Borj Nord fortress.
Day4 Fes → Middle Atlas → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Leave Fes for the Middle Atlas, stopping in alpine Ifrane and the cedar forest of Azrou. Lunch in Midelt, then drive along the Ziz Valley's canyons and palm oases to Merzouga. A camel caravan takes you into the golden Erg Chebbi dunes for sunset and a night at our desert camp.
Day5 Merzouga → Rissani → Dades Gorges
Catch the sunrise from the top of a dune, then enjoy breakfast at camp. Visit Rissani's market and old ksar, continue to Tinghir for a walk in Todra Gorge, and reach the Dades Gorges in the late afternoon, where the road winds between striking red cliffs.
Day6 Dades → Aït Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Travel the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs through Kalaat M'Gouna and Skoura to Ouarzazate. Explore the Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, then cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Arrive in Marrakech in the evening and enjoy the buzz of Jemaa el-Fna.
Day7 Marrakech sightseeing
A full day in the red city. Visit the Bahia Palace with its painted ceilings, the Saadian Tombs and the Koutoubia Mosque, then lose yourself in the souks of spices, lanterns and leather. In the afternoon, find calm in the Majorelle Garden before returning to Jemaa el-Fna at dusk.
Day8 Marrakech → Essaouira
Drive west through the argan forest, where goats famously climb the trees, and stop at a women's cooperative to see how argan oil is made. Arrive in Essaouira, a whitewashed port town with blue boats and sea-facing ramparts. Afternoon free on the beach, the Skala and the fish market.
Day9 Essaouira → Marrakech
Enjoy a relaxed morning by the ocean: a walk along the harbour, grilled sardines for lunch or browsing the thuya-wood workshops. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech for a last evening in the medina.
Day10 Transfer to Marrakech airport
After breakfast, time for last-minute shopping if your flight allows. Your driver then takes you to Marrakech Menara airport or your next accommodation, marking the end of your ten-day journey across Morocco.

Private & flexible
Only your group travels in the vehicle. Ask your driver to stop for photos whenever you like, and tell us if you want to change the route or add days.
Your desert camp
Our camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes has comfortable tents with real beds and blankets. Your big luggage stays in the 4x4 — take a small bag for the night.
What to pack
Sunglasses, sunscreen, a scarf for the wind, comfortable shoes and a warm layer: desert nights are cold from November to March.
Best time to travel
October to May is ideal. In summer we start early and rest at midday to avoid the heat. Every season has its own beauty.
Food & diets
Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals are possible. Just tell us when you book or let your driver know on day one.
How to book
Send us your dates and number of travellers. We reply with a price for your group. A small deposit confirms the tour; the balance is paid in cash on the first day (euros, dollars or dirhams).
Frequently asked questions
Which vehicles do you use?
Comfortable, air-conditioned vehicles adapted to your group: 4x4 Land Cruisers or minivans for small groups, and Mercedes Sprinter minibuses for groups of 8 or more.
How far in advance should we book?
As early as possible, especially for spring, autumn and holiday periods. Last-minute requests are welcome too — contact us and we will do our best.
How do I pay for the tour?
We ask for a small deposit when you book. The balance is paid in cash to your driver on the first day of the tour, in euros, dollars or Moroccan dirhams.
What happens to my luggage in the desert?
Your suitcases stay safely in the vehicle or are brought to the camp by 4x4. You only need a small backpack for the camel ride.
I don't want to ride a camel. Can I still sleep at the camp?
Of course. We can take you to the camp by 4x4 instead of camel.
Can we change the itinerary?
Yes. All our tours are private, so we can add nights, change hotels, include activities or adjust the route to your wishes.
Is the tour suitable for children and older travellers?
Yes. We adapt the pace, the stops and the accommodation for families and for travellers who prefer an easier rhythm.
