Itinerary: 2 Nights of Luxury Camping & Camel Ride
Day 1: Merzouga-camel trekking-desert camp
Our 2 night camel trek will begin in the late afternoon, about two hours before sunset, and take you straight into the heart of the desert dunes. We will meet you at our guests in the village, where you will leave your car at secure parking and pack the essentials for the evening in the desert.
You can witness one of Morocco’s most breathtaking sunsets during the hour and a half hike. If you’re interested in sandboarding, you can try it out. During the hike, you’ll stop in the middle of the Sahara to take pictures and take in the scenery until dusk falls. Finally, you’ll head to the camp, where you’ll be greeted with a glass of mint tea.
Since we are Berbers ourselves, we can provide you with the most typical desert evening conceivable, complete with traditional cuisine, live music, and spacious tents that can fit everyone.
Day 2: Desert camp – nomad family – khamlia
After breakfast at your camp we will begin our excursion to Merzouga to explore several interesting sites around the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will have the opportunity to visit a nomadic Berber family who still lives in their tent in the black desert and have a glass of mint tea with them and learn about life in the desert. Later we will continue to the M’ifis mines, in addition to tourism, the Merzouga desert is also famous for minerals and fossils. During our Merzouga desert 4×4 tour we will continue to the village of Khamlia, if you are interested in listening to the Gnawa music of the dark-skinned people who were brought to Morocco as immigrants more than a hundred years ago and worked as slaves. We will make stops at different scenic spots to enjoy the scenery and take pictures. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will return to the camp.
Day 3: Desert camp – camel trekking – Merzouga
We suggest getting up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the sand dunes. Following these wonderful moments, you will enjoy a delectable breakfast and shower at the camp. After that, you can ride the camels back to your starting point, or if you prefer, we can transport you straight from the camp to the village.

How far in advance should we book this tour ?
Making your vacation plans as soon as you can is encouraged because the early bird gets the worm.
How to pay for the tour ?
Initially, we ask that a small deposit be given to our account via PayPal during the booking procedure. Second, the balance must be paid in cash and should be handed to our driver/guide on the first day of the tour in euros, dollars, or the equivalent in dirhams.
How do i take my luggage to the camp?
At the start of your camel trek, a 4×4 vehicle will convey your luggage. As a result, your bags will be there when you arrive at the camp.
Is it possible to have vegetarian food or vegan food?
Serving vegan or vegetarian food is possible. On the first day of your trip, please email me or let your driver/guide know as soon as you can.
I don’t want to ride camels to the camp, how i do i reach the camp?
If you don’t want to ride a camel, we can transport you to the camp in a 4 × 4 vehicle.
